Estadio Eva Perón
The ground in Хунин opened as Эстадио Эва Перон on 9 July 1951, with Элиса Дуарте — sister of the first lady — unveiling a bust of her at the ceremony. After the 1955 coup and the banning of Peronism, the name was dropped in 1963: the lettering was taken down, the statue removed, and the ground carried the plain title Эстадио дель Клуб Атлетико Сармьенто. Peronism returned to power in 1974 and the original name came back with it. The letters themselves were only reinstalled on the stands in 2009.
«Ривер Плейт» and «Расинг» drew 3:3, the winner settled by lot, and «Велес Сарсфилд» beat a reinforced home side 5:0. The stadium had taken three years to build, and its first configuration seated 15,514 — 564 in the enclosed boxes, 5,880 on the official stands, 9,070 on the popular terrace along Paso.
«Бока Хуниорс» rented it in 1984 for a fixture against «Уракан» under a ban on games in the city. «Ривер Плейт» played here in 2021, «Бока» again across 2023 and 2024 in the Liga Profesional and Copa de la Liga — visits that brought crowd trouble outside the ground.
The 2016 rebuild added the southern end on Calle Arias, lifting a capacity that had stood near 17,000. The pitch remains natural grass.
