Estádio Evandro Almeida (Baenão)

From 2014 the Baenão fell silent while Clube do Remo took its home matches elsewhere.

What brought it back was not club money. The project was called "O Retorno do Rei ao Baenão" — the return of the king — and the roughly R$ 1.5 million behind it came from the Fenômeno Azul supporter base: donations, crowdfunding, names sold on seats and fencing, most of the donors anonymous. Between 2018 and 2019 the bleachers on the Rômulo Maioria and Almirante Barroso sides were restored, new metal bleachers went up along Travessa das Mercês, thirty corporate boxes were built, the turf was replaced with an irrigation system beneath it, and LED floodlights, wiring, dressing rooms and safety works followed. The aim was narrow and practical: meet CBF standards so that Remo could again host official fixtures, the Série C among them. The ground reopened on 13 July 2019 against Luverdense, holding 13,792.

It once held far more. On 7 September 1976, in the Taça de Ouro, 33,487 saw Remo beat Paysandu 5–2 there.

The club built the ground itself and opened it on 15 August 1917, marking the sixth anniversary of its reorganisation; it still owns it, and no other side has called it home. The formal name arrived after the death in 1965 of Evandro de Melo Almeida, a former player and director, whom the club chose to honour. The nickname simply took the street and made it larger.
