Estadio Florencio Solá

Banfield opened its ground on 6 October 1940 with a friendly against Independiente. At the time the concrete stands put it among the first of their kind in Argentina, alongside Atlético Tucumán, Independiente and River Plate, and the stadium has kept the name it was given from that first day — no sponsor tag has ever replaced it.

The ground carries the name of Florencio Solá, a former club president known to supporters as "Lencho". The record crowd, 30,000, dates to a league match in June 2004.

Promotion has been decided here more than once. The second leg of the 1986-87 Primera B Nacional play-off final went Banfield's way 2-0 against Belgrano, with goals from Benítez and Aquino, sending the club up. A rematch with Belgrano in 1990-91 went the other way after Banfield won the first leg 2-1 and were beaten 4-0 in the return.

Work since has been gradual rather than dramatic: a 2006 refit added boxes and offices, 2018 brought new seating and two dozen media boxes, and in 2019 the removal of fencing along one side stand added roughly 2,500 places, pushing capacity to its current level — though CONMEBOL caps it at 33,000 for international fixtures. The pitch remains natural grass.
