Estadio Gildo Francisco Ghersinich
Gerli, Argentina
Formerly: Estadio Enrique De Roberts
El Porvenir has played inside this ground on Blanco Encalada since it opened on 24 April 1971 under a different name — Estadio Enrique De Roberts. The club carried that name for thirty-six years before renaming it, on 11 August 2007, for Gildo Francisco Ghersinich, a former vice-president of the club rather than a player or coach, which sets it apart from most Argentine grounds named for the men who scored the goals.
Gerli itself sits split between two partidos, Lanús and Avellaneda, a municipal boundary that runs through the district rather than around it. The stadium is El Porvenir's only home, in a corner of Greater Buenos Aires crowded with clubs whose grounds sit within walking distance of one another.
