Estadio IV Centenario

Tarija's own ground carries the city's founding in its name: Estadio IV Centenario marks the 400th anniversary of the city's establishment in 1574, though the stadium itself went up decades later, in 1950, in the barrio of La Pampa. It has kept that name without alteration since.

Ownership sits with the departmental government rather than any club: Real Tomayapo , alongside Ciclón de Tarija, García Agreda and Unión Central.

The most recent chapter came under pressure of a deadline rather than ambition. Ahead of a Copa Sudamericana tie between Real Tomayapo and Wilstermann, the governorship pushed through a rapid upgrade in January and February 2024, granted on 3 February, days before the match on 5 March.
