Cañuelas is a small town in Buenos Aires province, and its ground carries the name of the man who put the club on the football map. Jorge Alfredo Arín served as club president and secured the lease on the land where the stadium now stands, work that also brought Cañuelas Fútbol Club into the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino in 1975 — the arena has borne his name since it opened, and it has never been changed.

The ground sits between Uruguay and San Juan streets, tucked into the town rather than set apart from it, and it belongs outright to the club. There is no press box legend or renovation story to tell here; this is a stadium built for a modest crowd of 1,500, the kind of capacity where every voice carries.

What has changed in recent years is underfoot. Club president Daniel Roncoli spoke in 2021 about the investment behind the pitch, laid with imported hybrid seed rather than standard turf — a detail out of proportion to a ground this size, and one that says more about the club's ambitions than the stands do. The surface has no floodlights to go with it, so Estadio Jorge Alfredo Arín stays a daytime venue, hosting Cañuelas in the lower rungs of Argentine football, Primera C and Primera B Metropolitana, in front of crowds that rarely test the fences.
