Estadio La Arboleda

La Arboleda takes its name from the trees around Barrio Santísima Trinidad, but the ground still carries the name of a man on its official papers: Estadio Don Eduardo Acosta Caballero, the title club Rubio Ñu never dropped even after the nickname took over in everyday use. The pitch, laid on Calle Juana P. Carillo, has held natural grass since it opened in 1970, and the club has never swapped it for anything synthetic in the decades since.

What separates La Arboleda from a routine neighbourhood ground is the 2013 work carried out for the club's centenary. Rubio Ñu marked its hundredth year by building a new stand and installing new floodlights, work that pushed the whole ground outward rather than simply patching what was there. Capacity is put at around 8,000 by most counts, though a smaller figure circulates elsewhere — the kind of gap common to grounds that expanded piecemeal rather than in one planned rebuild.

The stadium's clearest mark on the continental record came in 2017, when it hosted Group C fixtures of the Copa Libertadores Femenina, bringing clubs from across South America onto a pitch that otherwise serves a single Asunción side week to week. No attendance record from that run, or from any match at La Arboleda, has been preserved.
