Estadio La Perrera

The ground carries two names. Estadio La Perrera is how Las Parejas talks about the home of Sportivo Atlético Club; Estadio 4 de Septiembre is the official title. A third name, La Fortaleza , does the work the first one does not.

It replaced something. Sportivo played on Avenida 17 before the move. The new site sits on Calle 25, between 22 and 24.

What the ground holds is a matter of dispute. The surface is grass, and in a town of this size it belongs to the club rather than to anyone else.
