Estadio Luis Filipe Menezes

The ground sits in the Olival district of Crestuma, tucked away in a training complex that belongs to FC Porto. It is not a destination for travelling supporters. It is a working pitch, nothing more.

The stadium was inaugurated on August 5, 2002 , after construction that began two years earlier. The architect Alcino Soutinho designed it, and the engineer Eduardo Valente oversaw the build. The complex was originally called the Centro de Treinos e Formação Desportiva PortoGaia, but in October 2025 the entire site was renamed to honour Jorge Costa. The stadium kept its old name, the Estádio Luís Filipe Menezes, after the former mayor.

It hosts FC Porto B in Liga Portugal 2 and has hosted Lusitânia Lourosa and GD Chaves in the past. The pitch is natural grass, with no under-soil heating. The stands are all seated, with no standing sections anywhere.

A friendly match in 2011 drew attention when Benfica beat Manchester United 2-1. The women’s Taça de Portugal Feminina semi-final between FC Porto and Vitória SC in March 2026 also took place here. Recent home matches for Porto B have seen crowds of 271 and 438.
