Estádio Major Levy Sobrinho

Limeira built its own ground rather than lease borrowed turf, and it shows: the Estádio Major José Levy Sobrinho belongs to the municipality itself, with Inter de Limeira installed as tenant rather than owner. The stadium took shape slowly, work running from 1967 through to 1974, and the finished ground did not open its gates until 30 January 1977 — a decade from first shovel to first whistle. That opening came with weight attached. Corinthians travelled in for the inaugural match and left with a 3-2 win, but the home side got the first goal in the stadium's history, scored by Tio Marino, a name Limeira still keeps against the date.

Locally the ground goes by Limeirão — the augmentative marking it out as the city's big one, its only one. The pitch is natural grass, kept under floodlights, and the stadium has found a steady second life each January and February as a venue for the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, hosting knockout-round matches including a quarter-final and semi-final in the 2016 edition. That youth tournament, more than any top-flight fixture, has kept the Limeirão on the football calendar in recent years.

A facelift was drawn up in 2018, when Inter de Limeira put forward plans to revitalise the stadium's façade. The project never got past the drawing board — funding did not materialise, and the ground has not been substantially rebuilt or expanded since. No stands added, no capacity pushed higher. It remains the same municipal ground it was when it opened, still doing the job it was built for.
