Estadio Municipal San Gregorio
Torrent, Spain
The main stand runs along the west side, its 80 metres lined with orange bucket seats beneath a simple roof. Floodlight gantries sit atop the main stand, a later addition. The pitch is artificial, laid down in 2022 over the original 1962 footprint.
Torrent Club de Fútbol, founded in 1922, calls this ground home and currently competes in the Tercera Federación. The inaugural match was played here on March 18, 1962, when Torrent CF defeated CF Nules 6-0. The capacity is a matter of varying accounts: three sources place it at 3,000 while two others report figures of 4,000 and 5,000. The address is Avenida Perez Galdos, 46900 Torrent.
There is another venue in Don Benito that once carried the name Estadio Municipal San Gregorio before being renamed in 2010, but the distinction is clear. This ground in the Barrio San Gregorio neighbourhood has remained largely unchanged since it was built by the municipality.
