The ground sits on Carretera Vieja. It opened in 2003, built with a specific purpose before the main games moved to Santo Domingo. The capacity is small, 2,800 seats. The pitch is natural grass.

Atlético San Cristóbal calls this place home. They have played there since 2015. The team competes in the Dominican Republic First Division, known locally as the LDF. Occasionally, the national side uses the venue for selected matches.

The stadium has no new name, no major rebuilds that changed its shape. It remains Estadio Panamericano, consistent in every record. It is simply a working football ground, steady and unchanging.
