Estadio Presidente Perón

Racing Club still call this ground El Cilindro, a nickname earned by the round, drum-like shape of a stadium built in 1950 on Pasaje Mozart y Oreste Omar Corbatta, replacing the club's old wooden ground at Alsina y Colón. The move gave Racing something no rival across the river had at the time — a purpose-built bowl, opened with a 1–0 win over Vélez Sarsfield.

Its defining night came on 1 November 1967, when Racing beat Celtic 2–1 in the second leg of the Intercontinental Cup in front of a crowd put at 120,000, still reckoned the largest attendance for a football match in Argentine history. The first leg had drawn nearly as many a fortnight earlier, before the tie was settled in Montevideo. Two decades later, in 1988, the ground hosted the first leg of the Supercopa Sudamericana final against Cruzeiro, a match Racing won 2–1 on the way to the title.

Between 1995 and 1997, El Cilindro became the first stadium in Argentina to cover every seat, fitting a translucent roof over the full bowl rather than just the main stand. A longer rebuild followed from 2020, and in 2022 the perimeter moat that once ringed the pitch was filled in to meet CONMEBOL's pitch-side regulations. The most recent work, in 2024, replaced the floodlights with LED fittings and refreshed the playing surface, which sits on a natural grass pitch with an under-soil heating system.
