The ground on the corner of Reconquista and Mariano Moreno was used for bare earth until 2000, when the players of Club Social y Atlético Guillermo Brown began playing on natural turf in Puerto Madryn.
The second change was larger and had nothing to do with football. In 2006 the stands were rebuilt and enlarged so that Estadio Raúl Conti could take an international rugby match, Argentina against Wales, played on 11 June that year and won by Argentina 27:25.
Between matches the place has other uses.
