Estadio Roque Battilana
Roque Battilana was the first stadium in Paraguay to swap grass for an artificial pitch, laying it down in June 2019.
Deportivo Recoleta bought the land on Av. Guillermo Saraví, in the Barrio Recoleta, back in 1941, and it wasn't until 2002 that the stadium bearing former club chairman Roque Battilana's name actually opened.
Owning the ground hasn't kept the club playing on it. Since the 2025 season, Recoleta FC — as the club has been known since 2024 — has taken its Primera División home fixtures to rented grounds instead, Estadio Ricardo Gregor in Independencia or Jardines del Kelito in River Plate, leaving Roque Battilana without a permanent top-flight tenant.
What's left plays out a level down: reserve and youth football, the third round of the 2021 Copa Paraguay, and the women's APF championship, where in May 2022 Nacional/Umaitá found no answer to Libertad/Limpeño in a 5-1 defeat.
