Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium
Al-Ram, Palestine
The Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium stands in Al-Ram. It is not a new ground, having opened in 2008 after renovations that began the previous year. The surface is artificial.
The capacity is officially listed as 12,500, a figure that allows the venue to host the Palestine national football team, which has used the ground since 2008. Hilal Al-Quds Club also calls it home. The stadium was named after the Palestinian politician Faisal Husseini upon completion.
The crowd numbers tell a different story than the official card. The highest recorded attendance sat at 15,000, set during a West Asian Football Federation Championship match against the United Arab Emirates on September 8, 2015. Other notable figures include 12,000 for a match against Saudi Arabia in 2019 and 11,500 against Thailand in 2011.
The ground has hosted matches since its opening, steady and unchanging in its purpose.
