Stadium
Fazisi
Poti sits where the Rioni meets the Black Sea, and the ground that carries the city's football takes its name from the Greek colony that stood on the same delta: Fazisi. The stadium opened in 1961, and it has kept that name ever since.
What was built in 1961 was modest and has stayed modest. Six thousand seats.
The playing surface is natural grass at the standard 105 by 68 metres.
The ground was reconstructed in stages between 2013 and 2022, nine years of intermittent work rather than a single closure. Fazisi is the home address of Колхети-1913 of Poti, a club whose founding year predates the stadium by nearly half a century — the team existed for decades before it had this place to play in.
