Finnair Stadium

Formerly: Töölö Football Stadium, Sonera Stadium, Telia 5G Arena

The first thing to know about the ground at Urheilukatu 5 is what it is not. The Olympic Stadium stands right beside it, a 1938 building with its own place in the city's memory, and the two are regularly confused. This is the smaller neighbour: a purpose-built football ground, opened in 2000, holding 10,770 with every stand under a roof.

It has changed names more often than most. It went up as the Töölö Football Stadium, then carried a succession of sponsors — Finnair Stadium, Sonera Stadium, Telia 5G Arena — and is currently the Bolt Arena. The Finnish original still gets used locally.

The surface is artificial and heated.

It belongs to ХИК — HJK Helsinki — who play their home matches here. The ground has hosted one occasion of note beyond the club game: the final of the 2003 under-17 world championship was played on this pitch.

There is no dedicated website for the arena. Practical information sits in two places instead — the city of Helsinki's own pages and the club's.
