The ground in Szczecin is defined by the gap between what it was and what it is now. This is the new Florian Krygier Municipal Stadium, completed after the original structure was pulled down in 2020.

It is a place of abrupt transitions. The old stadium, built in 1925, carried the history of the city through World War II and into the modern era, even earning the nickname "Papricana" for its resemblance to the Maracanã combined with a local fish spread. That version of the ground hosted 35,000 fans in 1983, a number that dwarfs the 20,157 crowd that watched the new venue open to a match against Lech Poznań on 1 October 2023. The new facility speaks a different language entirely: a hybrid grass surface, a five-story youth training center, and a roof covering 22,503 square metres of steel.

There are no concerts here now, the turf warranty too strict for anything but football.
