Forthbank Stadium

Forthbank was the first stadium built in Britain after the Taylor Report. Stirling Albion have called it home since it opened in 1993, playing their first match there against Clydebank — a 2–3 defeat.

The ground has never been Stirling Albion's alone. The University of Stirling also stages its home fixtures at Forthbank, an arrangement that has run alongside the club's tenancy since the stadium opened.

The record crowd, 3,808, arrived on 15 February 1996 for a Scottish Cup tie against Aberdeen — filling the stadium to the capacity it was built with, a mark no later date has matched.

For three years from 2010 the ground carried a sponsor's name, the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium, under a deal with the hotel chain, before reverting to Forthbank. Stirling Council has owned the stadium throughout.
