Frederikssund Stadion

In 1936 Frederikssund IK took over ground from a neighbouring motor racing track and built a clubhouse and changing facilities with volunteer labour. A second clubhouse followed in 1959; the main entrance came in 1980. No architect is recorded for any of it, and no opening year for the grounds themselves.

What that leaves is a site of six eleven-a-side pitches, one of them artificial, with the main playing surface natural grass.

The exception is the cup. In 2021–22 the club reached the second round. Cup football has its own rules here, and the ground knows it.

No internationals, no finals, no concerts.
