Futbal Tatran Arena

The ground on Čapajevova has been through two lives. The first began in 1907, when the old Štadión Tatran Prešov opened on this same plot; it stood until 2018, when the demolition crews took it down. For the years that followed, 1. FC Tatran Prešov had no home of their own in the city and played their matches at NTC Poprad, under the Tatras, some distance away.

The replacement opened in May 2025. AVA-stav, s.r.o. built it to a design by Ľubomír Sakala, Martin Sakala and Beáta Kováčová, and it carries an honorary second name, Štadión Ladislava Pavloviča. Ownership sits with the city of Prešov and the Prešov Self-Governing Region, held through the company Futbal Tatran Aréna s.r.o.

Its attendance record was set on the day it opened, 3 May 2025, at the exhibition match: 5,948. Weeks later it took four fixtures of the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship — three group matches and a quarter-final — and was the only venue at the tournament to sell out every one of them. The largest of those crowds, 5,513, watched Denmark and France in the quarter-final. In the 2025/26 season the arena also staged UEFA Conference League football.

The playing surface is natural grass. The ground sits in the Prešov I district, and should not be confused with the stadium in Poprad that housed the club while this one was being built.
