The pitch in Telavi has been out of use since the rebuilding work began, and the club that plays there has moved next door. FC Telavi now take their home fixtures at the Kavkasioni Arena — the rugby ground on the same site, natural grass, borrowed for as long as the main bowl stays shut.
That main bowl has stood since 1968, which puts it among the Soviet-era municipal grounds built to a common template across Georgia: Rehabilitation work was reported under way in June 2012. The ground sits at 41°54'42"N 45°28'51"E, and no street address appears in any record of it.
The rugby arena alongside is the smaller of the two and, for now, the one in use.
