Gradski Stadion Kavadarci
The Gradski Stadion Kavadarci was finished before the town had much else to show for the post-war years. Work ran through the late 1940s, and the ground opened on 19 March 1950, and still owned by the same body that built it, the municipality of Kavadarci. Who drew the plans, and which firm laid the terraces, was never recorded in any form that survives.
What the ground has instead of a founding architect is a sequence of alterations. The first came in 1980, when the stadium was enlarged; the capacity it carries now, 7,500, dates from that work rather than from 1950. The most recent change is barely three years old. In the summer of 2023 a new south stand was completed, adding 1,000 seats.
The tenant is Tikveš, and the arrangement has been a long one. The pitch is natural grass.
The stadium's biggest crowd is not a matter of record. No figure, date or opponent has been written down anywhere that can be checked, so the number stays unknown.
