Gradski Stadion Konjic

Formerly: Stadion Drecelj, Stadion Igmana

The ground sits in the Drečelj district of Konjic, and that is what most people around the town call it — Stadion Drečelj, or simply Stadion Igmana after the club that plays there. The official name has never changed and no sponsor has ever been attached to it.

It opened in 1977 and stayed largely as it was for decades. The change came in 2023, and it came because of promotion: when FK Igman Konjic reached the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ground had to meet a standard it had not been built for. The town authorities and the club rebuilt it together — new seating on the stands, new floodlights, a new pitch. What that work cost has not been made public.

The stadium has not hosted a cup final or an international fixture, and its one entry in the wider record is not a happy one. On 17 September 2014, during a Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina tie between Igman and FK Sarajevo, play stopped in the 54th minute after disorder among supporters — stones thrown, clashes with police. One supporter and one police officer were injured. The match resumed and Sarajevo won 3-0.

The pitch is natural grass, the capacity 5,000, and the address — Donje selo bb — places it away from the centre, in the part of town that gave it its unofficial name.
