Gradski stadion Omarska
Omarska, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The ground in Omarska has always had a track.
There is no floodlighting here. The stands are low, and the sky is usually visible, whether it is bright or dark. That is a long way from the big arenas in the capital.
The history of the place is tied to 1973. The club was founded that year, and local supporters prepared the field themselves with wooden goalposts.
The club, FK Omarska, plays here. The matches are not the biggest in the region, but they draw a crowd.
Some of those were donated by FK Krupa in 2016, a small gesture to improve the conditions. The pitch is natural grass, and it looks well-kept despite the lack of lights.
