Haicang Sports Centre Stadium

The sports centre in Haicang was built for a district that was still filling in. The stadium took its first significant fixtures before it was formally finished: the football tournament of the 1st National Youth Games came here in 2015, and the men's U18 competition produced the first gold medal of those Games on this pitch.

Since opening in 2018 it has kept no sponsor's name and carried no earlier one. The tenant list, by contrast, has moved. Xiamen Blue Lions used the site in the mid-2000s across the Chinese Super League and China League One; Xiamen Feilu FC holds it now, in China League Two.

The building works harder outside the football calendar than most 15,000-seat grounds. Tiësto played here in September 2018, three months after the stadium opened, and Creamfields Xiamen brought Armin van Buuren the following year. The television series Special Force 2 filmed on site. In 2025 the halls took the National Youth U-Series Floorball Championship.

Design came from Xiamen Heda Engineering Design Group; day-to-day operation rests with Xiamen Urban Construction Tianshi Culture and Sports Industry. The address — No. 2012 Xinggang Road — places it on the port side of the district.
