Hancock Arena

Hancock Arena holds its ground in Skive. It was opened on June 5, 1944, a date chosen for Danish Constitution Day, when the local athletics section handed the facility over to the municipality. The capacity sits at 10,000, with just 523 covered seats.

The pitch itself is natural grass, a surface the club restored after a synthetic layer was laid in 1999. The modern additions are visible in the infrastructure rather than the architecture: pitch heating installed in 2017 and a lighting system upgraded to 1200 lux in 2020. The stands have seen their share of sponsorship shifts—Sparbank Arena, then Spar Nord Arena, then SIKArena—before settling on the Hancock name, though locals still call it Skive Stadion.

The attendance record of 10,000 dates back to a Jutland Series match against Viborg FF on May 19, 1955. More recently, the club carved Skive IK open in the Danish Cup, tying the record for the largest winning margin with a 16–1 victory against Lystrup IF.
