Herzliya Municipal Stadium

There is no running track around the pitch, so the players run close to the terraces on match days.

Two clubs call this ground home, which means the visitors rarely find themselves in an empty arena. Maccabi Herzliya moved into the stadium when it opened and currently plays in the Liga Leumit, the second tier of Israeli football. Hapoel Herzliya, which was founded in 1928, has spent recent seasons in lower divisions but has history in the top-flight Premier League. The venue was renamed Toto Herzliya Stadium in 2015 after a sponsorship agreement with the national lottery, but locals still refer to it by its original municipal title. The capacity sits somewhere between 8,100 and 8,300, depending on which source you trust.

Above the seating, the skyline of Herzliya rises up—apartment blocks and construction cranes visible against the sky. The pitch itself is natural grass, kept in decent condition despite the lack of luxury facilities. Floodlights illuminate the field for night matches, casting long shadows across the turf.

In April 2023, Maccabi Herzliya was initially prevented from hosting home matches because the stadium did not meet Liga Leumit standards. The municipality stepped in later that year with a renovation project to upgrade seating and infrastructure. The stadium also hosted the Peres Center for Peace Mini Mondial in 2017, bringing together young players from different communities for training and matches.
