Huvepharma Arena

The Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad does not look like a building from 1954. The original Dyanko Stefanov Stadium was demolished and replaced, a decision driven by the need to host European football in a town that had long since grown too small for its ambitions.

The memory of a match against Athletic Bilbao remains sharp for the local fans, a night when the attendance record was set and the crowd watched a team that had been written off by many people abroad. The stadium has also seen the national team, though the results have been mixed.
