Hvidovre Stadion

The record crowd at Hvidovre Stadion came on 16 October 1966, when 13,400 people packed in for a goalless draw with БК Фрем.

The ground had already made a different kind of history two years earlier. On 26 April 1964 it staged the first live television broadcast of a domestic football match in Denmark, Хвидовре ИФ against Оденсе КФУМ, watched by more than a million people.

Football was played here from 1932, and the stadium opened formally on 29 May 1935. Its shape today owes more to what came after: Højgaard & Schultz built a new stand between 1969 and 1971, and further work followed in 1976, 1992, 1996, 2003 and 2016, when the pitch was relaid with rolled natural turf. Through the 1970s to the 1990s the capacity stood at 15,000, which put it among the largest grounds in the country; that figure has gone. Of the current total, 4,600 are under cover on the main stand along the south side, while the rest of the crowd sits on wooden benches five rows deep. A plan approved in 2023 would add 3,400 places to meet Danish Superliga requirements.

The main pitch has carried sponsors' names since 2010 — Office Center Arena, then Kæmpernes Arena from 2012, and Pro Ventilation Arena from 2019. On 29 August 1987 the ground held a concert with Peter Gabriel, Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul and Youssou N'Dour.
