Šiaulių Gytarių stadionas
Šiauliai, Lithuania
Formerly: no data
The name gives it away before anything else does: this is the ground of the football academy. Šiauliai's professional history has moved between grounds — FC Šiauliai through 2016, Sakalas and Kareda before that — while the city's original municipal stadium has stood since 1962.
It opened on 11 September 2020, after a reconstruction costing 427,000 euros, with the Šiauliai municipality covering roughly half that sum and the rest split between the Lithuanian Football Federation, the Šiauliai county football federation and the academy itself.
It was never meant to hold a city crowd — it hosts MFK Gintra-Universitetas, the women's side, alongside the academy's own sides. There is no former name attached to the stadium; unlike grounds that carry sponsor rebrands through the decades, this one has only ever been Gytarių.
