The ground sits in the Dashkovo-Pesochnya district, tucked away from the main thoroughfares. It is not a place built for the roar of a crowd, but rather for the sharp sound of skates biting into ice. The structure is functional, a local centre for sport rather than a monument.

The Ice Palace "Olympic" opened its doors in 2005. The venue hosts hockey and figure skating, with the surface converted for ice shows when the games end. For concerts, the capacity shifts to 2,700, a number that reflects the stage setup on the rink rather than the seating for a match. It is a modest hall, distinct from the larger arenas in Krasnoyarsk, where different venues carry the same Olympic name. The address is Zubkova Street, 12, bldg. 2.

There is no drama in the architecture, only the steady rhythm of a community centre. The ice is the main attraction, sliced up by blades in the winter months. The building does not travel to make up the numbers for a bigger league; it serves Ryazan.
