Stadium
Isotopes Park
Formerly: Albuquerque Sports Stadium (site)
Gates opened on 11 April 2003.
Since 2019 New Mexico United of the USL Championship have shared it with the Albuquerque Isotopes , and every match day means temporary sod laid across the baseball infield. In 2023 the pitch was turned roughly seven degrees off its old alignment — partly a safety question, partly a matter of needing less turf each time.
The fullest house came on 5 May 2018, when the Isotopes played as the Mariachis de Nuevo México against the El Paso Chihuahuas and 16,975 got in — well beyond the 11,124 fixed seats.
Between innings the ground runs the Chile Race. Isotopes players mark home runs by pulling on hazmat masks. The University of New Mexico's baseball side used the place from 2004 to 2013.
