The Új Hidegkuti Nándor Stadion occupies the site in the Józsefváros district where older grounds had stood since 1912. Where the original stadium had 12,700 seats packed tight, this one holds 5,322.

The structure was completed in October 2016, following the demolition of its predecessor the previous year. The pitch, a hybrid Desso GrassMaster surface, runs north-south, a rotation from the old layout that places the main stand on the western side. The architects, led by Péter Bordás, opted for a minimalist aesthetic, utilising concrete walls behind the goals and a four-storey block that houses the MTK headquarters alongside the VIP areas.

Visitors approach the ground via a wide, paved forecourt that leads into a parking area marked with simple white lines. The building’s signage is sober, with the name rendered in clean lettering against the white cladding. MTK Budapest FC has called this place home since it opened, though in 2017 and again from 2018 to 2021, other local clubs rented the facility while their own homes underwent renovation. The stadium has hosted youth internationals and women’s matches, but the senior men’s national team has not yet played here. The atmosphere is quiet enough that the only sounds are the wind moving through the fins and the occasional car driving past on Brüll Alfréd utca.
