Estadio Jardines del Hipódromo does not look like a finished building, and for a long time it was not one.

The name of the stadium was changed in 2017 to honour María Mincheff de Lazaroff, but the architecture still carries the weight of its origins. It is a place where the structural capacity is often discussed, yet the atmosphere depends less on the number of seats and more on the proximity of the spectators to the action.
