Jericho Lane Sports Hub

There is a ground in Aigburth that feels like it arrived late to the party. Jericho Lane Sports Hub opened in January 2019. It replaced The North Field. You walk onto Otterspool Drive and find a facility. The surface is artificial, that synthetic green carpet that holds the ball true but lacks the grit of natural turf.

The capacity sits at 1,000. It is not a number designed to intimidate visitors. When South Liverpool FC or Liverpool Feds Women FC take to the pitch, the noise does not have to travel far. The highest attendance recorded here was over 200 people back in August 2022. That match against Wolverhampton Wanderers brought more bodies through the gates than the early years ever did. Before that, five or six souls might have shown up. The difference is stark.

The venue is operated by Leisure United.

This is not a temple of football.
