Singapore has only three football grounds without a running track around the pitch, and this is one of them.
The pitch is artificial turf, laid in place of natural grass around 2016 and carrying FIFA certification. The ground sits inside the Jurong East Sports Centre and is run by Sport Singapore through ActiveSG, which is why it turns up in listings as Jurong East ActiveSG Stadium — there is no sponsor behind the name.
Albirex Niigata (S) have played here since 2004, and Tanjong Pagar United moved in from 2020.
