Karasai
The ground sits on Zhambyl Street, on the site of a former churchyard cemetery — Soviet planners cleared it when the arena went up in 1967.
The first pass, in 2016–2017, strengthened the structures, repaired the stands and replaced the playing surface with an artificial one. The second programme, begun in 2022, was built to UEFA category 4 standards: the first stage finished in 2023 with a new grass pitch laid over automatic irrigation and undersoil heating, the second in May 2025. Roughly 2.6 billion tenge of public money covered the 2022–2024 work.
Qyzyljar play their home fixtures here, which means Premier League and Kazakhstan Cup football — the League Cup tie against Kairat in July 2024 among them. The calendar is not only football: in January 2025 the arena hosted the North Kazakhstan region speed skating championship.
