Klaipėdos miesto stadionas

The floodlight pylons at Клайпедос центрине стадионас are on a demolition list for 2025–2026. They went up in 1964, when the architect Петрас Лапе rebuilt the terraces from 2,500 places to 10,000 for the final tournament of the USSR Second League, adding a scoreboard at the same time.

On 18 July 1987 the ground held 12,000 for a USSR Cup tie between «Атлантас» and Moscow's «Торпедо» — still the attendance record. Юрий Савичев scored on 14 minutes and the hosts found no answer; it finished 0:1.

Benches gave way to seats in 2000, and in 2016 the athletics sector was rebuilt for €193,000. In March 2022 the B and C pitches — 12,075 m² between them — were laid with artificial turf; the main pitch stayed grass.

Four Lithuanian Cup finals have been played here: «Гранитас» beat «Банга» 2:0 in August 1981 and 3:1 in August 1986. Then a long gap — «Инкарас-Грифас» over «Жальгирис-ЭБСВВ» in 1995. The Lithuania national side has used it twice for the Baltic Cup, beating Estonia 4:1 in November 1991 and 2:0 in May 2016.

The city runs it through Klaipėdos kūno kultūros ir rekreacijos centras. Concerts go to Švyturio arena instead.
