Konya Büyüksehir Belediyesi Stadium

Konya, Turkey

Formerly: Konya Büyükşehir Torku Arena Stadyumu, Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu

The ground in Selçuklu began life under a name it no longer carries. Torku, the sponsor, put its name over the doors when the place opened, and when that arrangement ended in 2016 the stadium reverted to the municipality's own title. A later deal with Medaş, the natural gas distributor for Mersin, Adana and Konya, added another layer, and Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesi Stadium is what it answers to now. Three names in roughly a decade, all of them printed in earnest at the time.

What sits under the players' feet has changed as often as what is written above them.

The same 2026 works produced something the building can claim alone: an Accessibility Certificate, the first awarded to a stadium in Türkiye.

The architect was Bahadır Kul; Sarıdağlar İnşaat did the building. Konyaspor have played here since the first match, against Balıkesirspor in February 2014, seven months before the official opening.
