Kras Stadion
It was carried up from Brussels, where it had served the 1958 World's Fair, and re-erected here when the ground opened in 1975. That second-hand structure outlived the rest of the stadium: when a rebuild between 1992 and 1995 replaced three of the four stands, the money ran out before the old one, and it survived until 2010, when it was finally pulled down and replaced, with VIP boxes added in the southern corners.
The name changed in 2002. The naming rights then went to Kras, a local company, and the Крас Стадион has carried that name since.
The surface took longer to settle. When the KNVB inspected the new pitch that August, they measured it a metre short of the required 105.
Later work concentrated on the main stand: the skyboxes were rebuilt in 2016, with further changes in 2020.
