Kulob Markazii Stadium

The ground in Kulob was built for a team that already existed. Ravshan Kulob were founded a year before the first spade went in, and the stadium that followed was commissioned by decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Tajik SSR. That sequence explains a lot about the place.

It opened under a different name. For years it was known as Pakhtakor. The renaming came later, and today the ground is also carried as Langari Langariev Stadium and, more plainly, as Kulob Arena.

What sits behind the record is a single continuity: one club, one ground, since the year the club was old enough to need one.
