The address, Grosse Allee 5, puts it across the municipal line in Münchenstein, part of Basel-Landschaft rather than the city canton next door. It is a separate build from the old St. Jakob sports complex rather than a football ground in its own right.
The track dates to the early 1980s, but the stadium's current shape owes more to a rebuild carried through between 2011 and 2015. That work delivered a new stand building in 2015, adding 500 seats under cover along with forty changing rooms.
The surface is natural grass.
