Lendava Sports Park
Lendava, Slovenia
Formerly: Mestni stadion, Lendava City Stadium
Lendava Sports Park The ground was not always this large. It held a small concrete stand in the post-war years.
The rebuild finished in the spring of 2006. The surface is natural grass, cut to the standard 105 by 68 metres. For a town of this size, the facility is substantial enough to host youth internationals for Slovenia, though the senior national team has never been drawn here.
There is a slight disagreement over the exact number of seats. Some accounts say two thousand. The highest crowd recorded at the old City Stadium, the predecessor on this site, was two thousand, and that was for a relegation play-off against Slavija Vevče in 1995.
The club, NK Nafta 1903, plays its home fixtures here. The original name, Mestni stadion, was retired when the reconstruction began.
