Libertadores de America

The ground belongs to Club Atlético Independiente. The original stadium, known as La Doble Visera, opened on March 4, 1928, and was designed by the architect Federico Garófalo. It stood on this site until a wall collapse in 2006 forced its demolition the following year. The new venue was inaugurated on October 28, 2009, during a match against Colón de Santa Fe, with Andrés Silvera scoring the first goal. The project was managed by Ezequiel Dorado, an Independiente supporter.

The structure is a mix of the old and the new. The pitch is natural grass.

The stadium was renamed Estadio Libertadores de América – Ricardo Enrique Bochini on December 5, 2021, in honour of the club's all-time record appearance holder. It has hosted significant matches, including the second leg of the 2010 Copa Sudamericana final, where Independiente defeated Goiás 3–1, and the 2017 final against Boca Juniors. The site also hosts rugby, having seen the Argentina national team play the Barbarians Français in 2011. In August 2025, a Copa Sudamericana match against Universidad de Chile ended in severe violence, leading to over 90 Chilean fans being detained.
