Links Park
The pitch at Links Park was earning its keep before Montrose ever kicked a competitive ball on it: travelling circuses pitched their tents there and cattle grazed on the turf between shows, on land leased from the town's Auld Kirk.
Montrose F.C. have played there since the gates opened, and in recent years the ground has taken on tenants beyond the first team: a women's side since 2017 and a junior club, Montrose Roselea, from 2018. The grass pitch gave way to an artificial surface in 2006, funded by a grant from GlaxoSmithKline, and that carpet was relaid in the 2015 close season.
Links Park's biggest crowd came on 17 March 1973, when Montrose met Dundee in a Scottish Cup quarter-final and 8,983 supporters packed into the ground.
