Loop Meadow
Didcot, United Kingdom
Formerly: NPower Loop Meadow Stadium, RWE nPower Loop Meadow Stadium
This is not a place where crowds surge; it is a quiet ground.
What makes this stadium distinct from any other in Oxfordshire is the skyline behind it.
The club moved here in 1999, leaving behind a terraced street which is now a supermarket car park. The new ground was built on the Ladygrove housing estate, across the railway line from the old Station Road site. The capacity is listed as 3,000, though the covered seats are fewer than that. Most of the stands are open to the elements. The terrace behind one goal is open, while the main stand offers some shelter. The club has had sponsors for the name, but the ground remains Loop Meadow.
