LTS Stadion im Park

The LTS Stadion im Park does not sit among Bremerhaven's main football venues — it sits inside one, tucked into the grounds of Speckenbüttel Park in the Lehe district, at Honoldstraße 1. That setting shapes what the ground is: a neighbourhood pitch wrapped by parkland rather than a stand-alone bowl on a ring road.

The stadium is home to Leher Turnerschaft, a club founded in 1898 whose gymnastics-and-sports tradition runs deeper than its football section. The pitch itself is natural turf, and the ground holds 2,000 spectators — enough for league football, not for occasions that draw a crowd. When LTS Bremerhaven faced 1. FC Köln in the German Cup in 2017, the tie was played at the larger Nordsee-Stadion across town, because the Stadion im Park was simply too small to hold the demand. That single detail says most of what needs saying about the ground's scale: it is built for regular Saturdays, not for nights when a Bundesliga side comes to town.
