Lugazi FC Stadium

Lugazi, Uganda

On the map lugazifc.com

The Lugazi FC Stadium sits quietly in the Najjembe area. Construction began in the middle of the pandemic.

While the official website points to an earlier opening date, the ground truly came alive during the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season. The kit unveiling ceremony took place under the open sky. The pitch itself, measuring 105 by 68 meters, is standard for the region, but the atmosphere is where the difference lies.

When URA FC visits, or when Lugazi FC plays their home fixtures after promotion to the top flight, the fans can still feel close to the action.

The stadium is still changing. It is not finished, but it is open. For the chairman Abdul Kawuulu Mwanje and the Kawuulu Foundation, this is not just a field; it is a promise kept. It simply needs to be here, in Lugazi, where the game belongs.
